Why Rhon Studios: Building a Game Studio from Scratch
The story behind the decision to found an indie game studio, the doubts we faced at the beginning, and why we believe it's worth pursuing.
Starting a game studio from scratch is one of the most irrational decisions you can make. No external funding, no safety net, no guarantees. Just the conviction that you have something to say, and that video games are the medium through which to say it.
Rhon Studios was born from that conviction. Not from a business plan, but from a long conversation about the kind of experiences we want to create and why there still isn't anything that fully satisfies us as players.
In this first devblog entry, we want to be honest about where we are: a small studio, developing original IPs, with no revenue yet, but with a clear direction and the determination to see it through. This is the beginning. And we want you to experience it with us.
