The story behind the decision to found an indie game studio, the doubts we faced at the beginning, and why we believe it's worth pursuing.
When we started designing Afterlight, we had one idea written down before any mechanic existed: two characters who help each other even though they belong to worlds that hurt one another. One of light, one of shadow. One strong where the other is weak. The design question came afterwards: how do we make that be felt, instead of just told?
Last week we told you how light and shadow became a real mechanic. This week comes the next obvious question: if the world is split between light and shadow, who lives in between, where neither rule fully applies?

I specialize in creating worlds with their own unique identity, where every artistic detail serves a narrative purpose. At Rhon Studios, my goal is to ensure every pixel tells a story and every game feels like a universe worth exploring.

I am a game developer passionate about creating interactive experiences and immersive gameplay systems. I have experience with Unreal Engine, Unity, and Godot, as well as multiplayer, virtual reality (VR), and both 2D and 3D game development. My goal is to create memorable games that deliver unique experiences to players.
